Unlike most games which feature a single round, the Trick Shot pool game is played in a round with six rectangular fixed prize panels. In order to win a prize, the player must put one or more of the red balls into one pocket. The feature will be canceled if the player fails one or more of the red balls.
Trick Shot has two unique features that make it interesting. These are the "High Lo” gamble feature, and the feature trails. The feature trail has pool ball symbols which light up when a person puts a pool ball in a hand. The game also offers a feature exchange. In order to access this feature, the player must insert enough coins into the game. The feature can be restarted if the player fails to win enough of the balls during a round. The "Yellow Ball into Pocket” function is available. In this feature, the extra pool ball shot indicator lights up.
Trick Shot pool tables feature distorted dimensions as a well as wide, wooden edging all around the table. These elements make the game look very cartoon-like. The game's pockets have a large size. Pockets can have some benefits, such as extra cash ladder steps. Some pockets also lack the "D" semicircle that would indicate a base-line. The game doesn't have a time limit so the player can take as much shots as they like.
The cue's shape is also different in the game. The cue is placed behind the cueball. However, the cue has a shorter length. The cue can be rotated around the cueball. In conjunction with the cue, the power button can move up and down. This feature allows players to determine the strength and timing of their shot by knowing the exact point in the power cycle at which the shot is taken. This feature is similar to the "Race to the Pocket".
In 2003, the "Trick Shot" pool-game was created. January 2004 saw the release of the first machines. Although the first version of the game was sold at bingo halls and arcades, the casino version was less popular. Due to poor performance, the casino version of the game was recalled. The game was later released by Bell-Fruit, who called it the "Casino cabinet." It was sold in arcades along with bingo halls. It was also made easier by adding features such as the "High Lo", a gamble feature.
Pocket Money is another pool game that can be played on a table without a base line. Black plastic inserts are also included in the pockets. The pockets of this game are slightly larger than the Trick Shot games, but not as wide. A "D" semicircle is also missing from the game.
The "Extra Pool Ball Shot Symbol" light-up indicator illuminates when the player takes one or more extra pools. The "Yellow Ball into Pocket” function allows the player to put an extra poolball in a pocket.
