
Ralph Greenleaf is a passionate billiards player who started playing just a few years back. He has participated in three cushion billiards tournaments, and he was in the top 10 at the Illinois 3-cushion tournament. He also regularly visits the Twin Cities' local billiards clubs every month.
Two of the most highly ranked billiards players in Vietnam are Tran Quyet Chien and Nguyen Quyet Nguyen. Both of these players are ranked in top ten worldwide. Both players currently rank in the top 8, with Tran Quyetchien at number 7. Both players are defending champions in the tournament. Ngo Dinh Nai is ranked at 29. Jeremy Bury, France is ranked 18.
The next tournament that will be held in Vietnam is the 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Continental Cup which will be held December 20-22 at Seoul. The tournament will feature eight top Vietnamese players. The total prize money is approximately 160,000 USD. In addition to the tournament, there will be a number of other events and events will be held throughout the year.

The United States Billiard Association or USBA is the official governing authority for carom pool in the United States. Each year, the National Championship is held by the USBA. The top two players from the National Championship will represent the USA at the Pan-American Championship.
The three cushion billiards tournaments held at the Madison 3-Cushion Billiards Club were very competitive and well-contested. The tournament saw two flights with six players each. The tournament was handicapped. Therefore, the semi finals were won by the five best players in each flight. The top 12 players will each receive $7,400. Bruce Venzke was the tournament director and was sponsored by First Business Bank of Madison. He is a legend in cue games.
The UMB (Union of Billiards and Carom Billiards) sponsored the tournament. This is the official governing body of 3-cushion billiards around the world. UMB also organizes regular tournaments each year. The UMB Turnier Schedule lists a variety of events.
This tournament was held in the south province of Binh Duong and featured eight teams that battled over three nights. The semi-finals will be decided by the top two teams, and the quarterfinals will be decided by the fourth and fifth teams. The final round will be single elimination. The Las Vegas World Cup 3-cushion-billiards tournament's winner will be awarded a cash prize worth $20,000. This is the very first time that the Vietnamese sent a representative into the semi-finals.

Although the 3-Cushion Billiards Tournament may be a new game, it has gained popularity in many countries. It is also featured in the animated Disney short film Donald from Mathmagic. It was also featured in Seven Billiard Tables, a 2007 Goya Award-winning Spanish movie.
