The rules of table shuffleboard can seem a little confusing to those just starting. It is a good idea, if you are new to the game of table shuffleboard, to get familiar with the basic rules before starting to play. There are several versions of shuffleboard. Each version has its own set of rules. Crazy Eight is a more difficult version of shuffleboard. It features a unique scoring system that rewards points in different ways.
First, table shuffleboard gives players only one shot to score in each round. The winner of most table shuffleboard games is the one who has scored 15 or 21 points. The remaining players can choose to shoot a second game. A player can also take a shot in the "hammer" shot, which is the final shot in a round.
Your first goal in a game of shuffleboard is to get your ball closest to the end. It is done by moving your puck from the edge towards the middle of the board. This will require you to slide the board along the edge. It's important that you stand behind your opponent when you're ready for shooting.

Once your puck is landed, it's a good move to push it in the right place to score. Once it's in the right spot, you can lean forward or move it backwards to get it into the best scoring position. But, it is important to keep your foot on ground behind the table.
There are three scoring zones for players on their tables. Each zone award players different amounts. The first zone gives one point for every puck that lands in its zone. The second section awards two points for each ball, while the third section allows for three. To score in the 3rd zone, the puck has to cross the line that divides the "2", "3" areas.
The last scoring area, located at the bottom of the table across from the foul line, is the one that crosses the middle. Pucks that don't clear the foul line will be out of game. The puck that lands on the foul line does not earn any points, except if it lands in the right zone.
Numbers are assigned to pucks. The number of pucks is displayed on the wall. Players can also check their puck by standing above it. To increase their chances of winning, they can push pucks into higher scoring positions.

Pucks have eight weights and come in sets. They are 2.3125 inches in width. While recreational pucks are typically 12 ounces in weight, they can range between 11 and 15 grams. In general, smaller pucks should be used on games that are played on narrow surfaces. Larger pucks, however, are best for larger surfaces.
Knock Off is one of the most well-known versions of shuffleboard, and can be played by four players. Crazy Eight is another popular variant, similar to classic games.
